Addiction, Dopamine and Cellular Memory: What the Body Remembers
Explore the connection between addiction, dopamine, trauma and cellular memory, and discover the Nutripuncture® perspective on automatic behavioral patterns.
Did you know that breast milk actually changes based on the sex of the child?
A child’s biological identity is written into their very cells: XX for a girl, XY for a boy. Recent research has discovered that a mother’s body “perceives” this information and customizes the composition of the milk to meet the specific biological needs of her infant.
Scientist Katherine Hinde has shown that breast milk is a dynamic substance that varies based on several biological factors—most notably the sex of the child. In other words, maternal nutrition is about much more than just feeding; it is a genuine language that transmits vital information.
A Two-Way Dialogue
One of the most astonishing discoveries is the interaction between the infant’s saliva and the composition of the milk. When a baby nurses, their saliva sends a signal to the mother’s breast. Based on the elements present in the saliva, the mother’s milk evolves—producing, for example, more immune-fighting factors if the baby is going through a period of vulnerability.
In this way, the milk becomes a true adaptive system designed to protect the infant’s immunity. This biological “dialogue” also helps:
Life begins with nutrition: eating is our very first sensory experience, allowing us to integrate into life. Interestingly, an infant’s first taste receptors aren’t even on the tongue—they are located inside the cheeks.
Information and Nutripuncture®
This biological intelligence reminds us how the interactions between our identity, sensory experiences, and cellular intelligence play a fundamental role in building who we are. It is also through this lens that certain disruptions can be explored later in life, particularly when fertility challenges arise.
In this context, Nutripuncture® allows for a deeper understanding of the interactions between nutrition, sexual identity, and fertility.
Because information plays such a key role in our development, Nutripuncture® accesses this unique biological language. It provides a way to assess where these internal “conversations” have become imbalanced and helps to rectify them, restoring the harmonious communication between our identity and our cellular functions.
