This Interview is the 6th episode of the “Meet the Practitioner” Series that we are running. This series will take you around the world to meet different practitioners, hear about their experiences and journey with Nutripuncture® and discover the many ways Nutripuncture® is applied and integrated into the health and wellness field.
Nutripuncture: How long have you been using Nutripuncture®?
Nathalie: I was introduced to Nutripuncture® while I was studying on a Craniosacral therapy course about 4 years ago. Several students had had small ailments treated with very fast results and I was instantly fascinated by this modality and how it could address long term and short term issues, both physical and psychological. When I knew that there were courses on offer in Singapore, where I was living at the time, I decided to start learning, I figured it would be helpful for my family as I have 3 teenagers with learning difficulties and eventually for clients I would see through my craniosacral therapy practice.
Nutripuncture: What was your first experience with Nutripuncture®?
Nathalie: I had issues with a frozen shoulder and Keven Duff who is an experienced Nutripuncture® practitioner, and who was studying with me, suggested some sequences of Nutripuncture® to take. My shoulder eased very quickly and combined with a little craniosacral practice during the course, the pain disappeared very quickly, even though I had previously tried all kinds of therapies like physio and acupuncture, as well as craniosacral therapy on its own, for months (which had had no effect at all).
Nutripuncture: Is that what made you decide to start using Nutripuncture®?
Nathalie: Yes, once I saw the simplicity of Nutripuncture® and how it had cured my frozen shoulder and how it had also made me feel better in myself I felt that that was something I wanted to use more regularly. I also noticed my health was better and my moods were more even. It’s hard to describe but I just ‘felt’ happier and more positive and every sequence thereafter seems to remove a layer of the onion, as I call it! For me, the onion represents your health and happiness and sometimes we have to peel back the layers!
Nutripuncture: How will you briefly describe Nutripuncture®?
Nathalie: We all know that Nutripuncture® is all about cellular health and balance. For me, it is a targeted way of accessing health and how you are meant to be, from conception onwards. When I describe it to clients I call it ‘drain unblocker’ for the Meridian pathways. It gets rid of the blockages and eases the energy flow throughout the body, thus leading to whole-body balance. As we know, body and mind are one so physical and emotional health are both positively affected.
Nutripuncture: Can you share a life-changing experience you had using Nutripuncture®?
Nathalie: For me, the greatest achievement has been with one of my children. He has had learning difficulties since he was young and can be socially shy. We have been using Nutripuncture® with him for the last 4 years and every time he takes a sequence there is an improvement. It is not instant and you need to be patient, but I feel he has improved so much since using Nutripuncture®. I am very grateful we found Nutripuncture® as other therapies have not had such a dramatic effect. He is now at University living an independent life and though there is still work to be done, he has learned to find his own feet and voice, he is planning for the future and projecting his life which is something he couldn’t even start to do before. As you know, you would do anything for your children and NP has given us and his hope for the future…you couldn’t ask for more, could you?!
Nutripuncture: Can you share a very simple tip to use Nutripuncture® in a very basic way in daily life?
Nathalie: I find that even taking Yin and Yang can be helpful when you are feeling ‘off’. Associations are super simple if you have the blue book and I often give associations for minor ailments.
The beauty being that you can’t do any harm with Nutripuncture®, you can just play with it!
My latest lesson is that changes in the biorhythms like change in seasons affect us more than we think and working on that can help lift a mood or a feeling of helplessness, which many of us have right now. The nice thing about Nutripuncture® is that it can be as simple or complex as you need it to be.
