Meet the Practitioner – Interview with Lani Arst

This Interview is the 7th episode of the “Meet the Practitioner” Series that we are running. This series will take you around the world to meet different practitioners, hear about their experiences and journey with Nutripuncture® and discover the many ways Nutripuncture® is applied and integrated into the health and wellness field.

Nutripuncture: Could you briefly introduce yourself?
Lani: I was raised holistically my entire life, which spurred me into a passion for health and wellness.  I have since then been keenly interested in new and innovative modalities and “tools” to seek that ever elusive mistress, homeostasis!  My best friend on the planet, Cheryl Torrey (another highly skilled Nutripuncture therapist/practitioner) is the one who guided me on my journey to become a therapist myself.   I love working with people.  I not only help them find themselves—their true selves—I also help them heal old wounds, whether physical, psychological or emotional.
We humans are such fragile yet durable beings, we all need a little help sometimes.  It just so happens that I am good at seeing things that others don’t about themselves and if they take a good hard long look in the mirror and consider what I tell them i see, it sometimes gives them a perspective they hadn’t considered.  They then have the opportunity to choose to allow me to help them address the condition they find themselves in.  I do strive for perfection, it’s important in what I do.
I have an important responsibility to my clients to be on my game at all times while addressing them.  They trust me to be there for them and provide them my best.  I’ve been doing this for almost 24 years and I do it because I love showing people that they’re not stuck in their fate—that they have other viable options to heal themselves.

Nutripuncture: How long have you been practicing and using Nutripuncture®?
Lani: I’ve been using Nutripuncture now for almost 24 years.  My son was about 6 years old when I first became aware of it–1997.

Nutripuncture: How would you (briefly) describe Nutripuncture®?
Lani: Nutripuncture® in a pill instead of needles.

Nutripuncture: What was your first experience with Nutripuncture®?
Lani: I was in a holistic pharmacy in Santa Monica, CA and saw odd shaped (larger than the ones today) white boxes with light blue labels and numbers on them.  Curious about them, I took one up to the counter and asked about them.  No one could tell me what they were but energetically, I could sense there was something very influential about them.  I asked the clerk at the counter if they knew of someone who could tell me more about them because I could feel them “calling me”.  I had to know more.  I was led to Cheryl Torrey, who set me up with Dr. Veret while he was there in Santa Monica.

Nutripuncture: Is that what made you decide to start practicing?
Lani: I had my first formal session with Dr. Veret at his hotel, and he gave me some sequences (around my thyroid, I had recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and was on synthroid to treat the condition).
He came back 6 months later, did muscle testing on my medication and told me I didn’t need it anymore.  I looked at him incredulously and said “But my doctor told me I had to take these for the rest of my life or I would die?!”. He replied “I am a doctor and I’m telling you they’re not necessary anymore, but believe what you want.”  I pondered that for a minute and decided to take that step off the cliff to see if I could truly walk across the canyon and not fall to my death.   Here I still am today!
That’s when I knew I wanted to share this incredible science with everyone I knew–a practitioner was born!

Nutripuncture: Can you share a life changing experience you had with one of your clients using Nutripuncture®
Lani: Oh boy, I have so many!
I think my favorite is a woman who is tremendously successful in business despite severe emotional and psychological trauma from numerous mismatches romantically.  While taking Nutripuncture basics (fundamental sequences), she realized how incredibly powerful this science is, and she too wanted everyone near and dear to her to be relieved of their respective issues, whatever they may be.  I started working with her and then suddenly I found myself working with about 10 other people she knows.
All of them are making tremendous progress on their own individual paths, but I’m so pleased with each of their results.
Nutripuncture requires a tremendous amount of courage and conviction to stay the course and get to the other side of the issues being addressed. Once there, a freedom from the tyranny of our self-made “prison” is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

Nutripuncture: What are the main aspects you focus on?
Lani: Unless there’s a “fire in the kitchen” (major health issue requiring immediate focus), I generally start on the person’s identity, then their gender, then their polarity, then move to the oedipals, and ultimately “self”, depending on how deep and far they want to go.

Nutripuncture: Can you share a very simple tip to use Nutripuncture® in a very basic way?
Lani: Yin and Yang plus the organ you seek to balance is the most basic principle I know.  My favorite combination is YY + 08, 11, 30, 27, 28/21.  Gets you on your identity real quick, something Dr. Veret taught me long ago.  Just love that man!
